I'm a iOS programmer. My wife and I live in Roberts Creek, British Columbia, Canada, a short ferry ride north of Vancouver on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. (Truth in advertising: it's often more like the Rainshine Coast here, but the marketing people got here early. Still, we love it!)
My most recent app project is abcJump, an app that teaches the alphabet to kids in an intelligent and innovative way. The app runs on iPads of all sizes, as well as the 4th-generation Apple TV (the one that runs apps). It’s available on both platforms.
Much of my time these days is spent exploring the internals of SwiftUI, Apple's new software technology for programmers writing apps for any of Apple’s platforms. I'm fascinated.
Here's one of my recent explorations. (CAUTION: wild nerds have been spotted in the area. Please do not feed.)
Bon appetit.
